About This Event
Local restaurants serve their chowders in a seaside park and the public tastes and votes. Past entries have ranged from smoked scallop to Manhattan, corn and vegetarian chowders. Serving starts at 11:30 am and runs until the chowder is gone. A free summer kick-off area sits alongside the ticketed tasting.
