The day opens with a proclamation in the village square and a parade of folións, then a communal lunch of garlic soup at the A Rodeleira pavilion. The meal is ticketed, while the parade and street entertainment are free. The festival has run since 2018.

7th Festa das Sopas de Allo, Vilamartin de Valdeorras, 7 February 2026: folions parade (11:30 from Praza X. Luis Nunez) and the meal at 14:30 in the municipal pavilion. 20 EUR (under 5 free without seat): aperitifs, empanada, garlic soup, galician-style orella/morro, boiled chorizo with potatoes, bica, coffee, liqueurs and drinks; each ticket includes a clay bowl and entry to a slaughter-products prize draw. Table service, DJ afterwards.
