About This Event
The residents' association O Castro organises the festival, which takes its name from the Galician broth of greens, potatoes and pork. It combines a parade through Pontevedra, a visit to the monument to the caldo, a communal lunch and, on Sunday, a proclamation, music and an award of a silver pot to a local figure. The 2026 edition was the 34th.
