About This Event

The Festival das Sopas e Condutos is organised by the municipality of Proença-a-Nova and held in the Parque Urbano Comendador João Martins. Local associations and producers from the Proença-a-Nova Origem brand present soups and other regional products, and the soups are sold by the bowl, with takings going to the participating associations. Concerts, folklore and live cooking sessions are part of the programme. It has been described as the first festival of the year to promote the municipality's gastronomy.
