About This Event

The church hall of Casal dos Claros and Coucinheira, in the parish of Amor near Leiria, hosts this soup festival organised by the festival committee of Nossa Senhora de Fátima. Around thirty soups are served, from classics like canja, caldo verde and fish soup to chestnut, mushroom cream, sopa da pedra and international recipes. It coincides with the traditional magusto, with roast chestnuts and água-pé, and gathers several generations of the village.
