About This Event
The Festival de Sopas e Sabores is a night of soup held in the rural community of Santo Antônio dos Trichês, near Marau in Rio Grande do Sul, as part of the town's Italian festival. The menu is large, with a dozen or more savoury soups such as capeletti, bean, caldo verde and sopa de pedra, plus sweet soups. The evening includes live music and cultural performances, and aims to keep the region's immigrant food traditions alive.
