About This Event
Held within the Treskavaț festival in the Danube gorge village of Svinița, the fish soup festival has a cooking contest in which amateurs and professionals prepare ciorbă de pește in cauldrons. Anglers and fishermen from both banks of the Danube have taken part. The 2026 edition was billed as the second fish soup festival.
