About This Event
Stanica is a village in Pilchowice commune in Silesia, and its Festiwal Żuru is a local celebration of żur, the sour rye soup, in many versions. Alongside the soup there are baked goods from the oven, stage performances and a children's area with inflatables and face painting. It is organised by the commune's cultural centre together with the village council.

Saturday 29 August 2026 in Stanica, with a contest for the best żur 2026 and free tasting. Programme: 5 pm opening, 5:15 brass band, 6 pm żur contest, 7 pm concert by Beata Mańkowska, 8 pm dance party with DJ KamTi, 9:30 pm fire show. Also free bouncy castles, face painting, kids' animations and full catering.
