About This Event
Ramen EXPO has been held at the Festival Plaza of Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Suita, Osaka, since 2013. Each weekend ('act') brings about ten different shops, chosen from all over Japan, so no two weekends serve the same bowls. You buy ramen tickets at the entrance and hand them over at each stall; visitors vote for a favourite and a Grand Prix is announced for each act. Gyoza stalls, stage shows and the park's winter illuminations run alongside. Park entry is charged separately.

Six acts over 19 days: 22-24 November (22 Nov short hours because of the park's fireworks night), 28-30 November, 5-7, 12-14, 19-21 and 27-30 December. Official count: about ten shops per act, 60 in all (the press-kit PDF says 65). Gyoza EXPO, a first Christmas market, stage shows and the winter Illuminight Expo lights ran alongside. Visitors vote with a Grand Prix card each act.
