About This Event
The sagra takes place at the Paoli sports field in Segromigno in Piano, a village of the Capannori municipality near Lucca. Its star is zuppa alla frantoiana, one of the classic dishes of Lucca's cooking, and each year the Disfida della Zuppa pits interpreters of the recipe against each other before a jury. Grilled specialities and other Tuscan dishes round out the menu, and entry is free.
