About This Event
Brześć Kujawski, west of Włocławek, has held its Kuyavian żurek festival every year since the start of the 2010s, and it is the biggest culinary event in the Włocławek district. The heart of it is a cooking contest in which teams make żur, the sour rye soup, over open hearths, and visitors taste the results. A music programme with a headline concert rounds off the day. A recent edition was held on the school grounds in Stary Brześć.
