About This Event
This festival gave Szeged's fish soup a stage for several days each early autumn. Visitors could eat halászlé from a very large cauldron and from competing teams, alongside grilled and fried fish, music and children's programmes on the riverfront. The festival paused for two years and came back in a bigger form before being replaced by a smaller cook-off in later years.
