About This Event
Szolnok gives goulash the starring role for a weekend in early autumn, in the riverside Tiszaliget park. Teams of companies, friends and heritage cooks bring their own cauldrons and compete in a jury-judged cook-off, and in good years teams have come from many countries. Around the cauldrons there are stage concerts, children's activities and craft stalls. Cooking day is the Saturday, and the festival has also run under the name Gulyásliget.
