What's on

Official poster: 2024 Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival, 20th anniversary (牛味傳香20載 臺北好味RUN國際) Read it

The 20th-anniversary edition ran four days, 10-13 October 2024, with 137 entries and 83 market stalls. Day one was red-braised fresh, day two instant packs, day three clear-stewed and the last day a new 'senior creative' group judged with seniors. Mayor Chiang Wan-an opened it with the festival's founding director, former Public Works Bureau chief Lin Sheng-chung, and TV gourmet Chen Hung as ambassador. Gold in red-braised went to Lao Pang, Lava Hotpot and Ba Fang Yun Ji. Visitors with a dragon zodiac year got a free side dish.

How to read festival information

We work to keep festival information right, but festivals are run by others and details change. Here is how to read what you see on SoupFestivals.

Confirmed or expected

A confirmed date was announced for that edition. An expected date, such as "usually held around mid-October", is an estimate based on past editions, not an announcement.

Places can be approximate

We show a map pin and directions only when the venue's location is verified. If it is still unconfirmed, we keep the known venue name and town without a pin.

Check before you travel

Dates, prices, menus and venues can change, and festivals can be cancelled. Always confirm with the organizer before you go. If their information differs from ours, theirs is the one to follow.

Help us keep it right
