About This Event
This smaller successor to Szeged's big fish festival is a one-day cook-off at the Partfürdő on the Tisza. Company teams and groups of friends cook halászlé over open fires and compete, and visitors can buy and taste the soup. Organisers have expected around a thousand to fifteen hundred participants. There are programmes for families and children through the day.

Tisza fish-cooking festival, 6 September 2025, at the Szeged Partfürdő camping and apartments; families and groups of friends can register to cook (szegedkemping.hu). Stage programme from 10:00 (folk choir, children's concert, dance show, judo demonstration, music) with the cooking-contest results at 14:30, a panel with members of the World Championship bronze-medal men's water polo team at 15:00 and a Kovács Andy concert at 15:45. Also fish-soup sales, craft children's corners, face painting and a mini funfair. Free admission.
