About This Event
The Gulaschfestival turns the Donaupark in Donaustadt into a giant open-air kitchen. Teams cook kettle goulash on open fires, a jury awards the golden ladle, and there is Hungarian folk music and dance, langos and palinka. In 2026 a Hungarian fish soup (halászlé) cook-off was added on the Sunday. The festival has been run by the Hungarian association BMME since 2010.
