About This Event
Cooks compete in Groningen for the title of best snert, the thick Dutch pea soup, and a silver ladle. The championship dates from the mid-1990s and runs alongside a stamppot championship. In 2019 snert cooking was added to the Dutch inventory of intangible heritage during the 25th anniversary edition.
