About This Event
Run by the town's socio-cultural centre and its partner associations, the festival fills the town hall gardens with soup stands cooked by local groups. Visitors bring their own bowl or eco-cup, taste the soups and vote for the best soup and the most original stand. Games, spectacles and a concert fill the afternoon. If it rains, everything moves into the cloister of Saint-Étienne cathedral.

The 13th edition had a circus theme ("La Fête de la Soupe fait son cirque"). The programme was soup tasting, games, concerts and shows, with the MJC dancers performing at 14:30. It ran from 14:00 in the town hall gardens, with a fallback in the cathedral cloister.
