About This Event
Run by the town's socio-cultural centre and its partner associations, the festival fills the town hall gardens with soup stands cooked by local groups. Visitors bring their own bowl or eco-cup, taste the soups and vote for the best soup and the most original stand. Games, spectacles and a concert fill the afternoon. If it rains, everything moves into the cloister of Saint-Étienne cathedral.

The 14th edition has a Western theme, "Il était une fois dans l'Est". Soups cooked by the centre's associations and partners are served from 14:00, with games and a concert, and the tasting contest is at 16:45. Bring your own bowl or eco-cup; in bad weather the party moves to the cathedral cloister.
