About This Event
Clubs, schools, kindergartens, cultural associations and initiatives from Höchst each cook a soup for hundreds of visitors, who buy a soup pouch with cup and spoon and taste their way through the pots. A recipe book and a ceremonial soup award in the afternoon are part of the tradition. The festival was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic.

14th International Höchster Soup Festival, Saturday 26 September 2026, 12-3 pm at the Dalbergkreisel in Frankfurt-Höchst. The programme: cooks parade in at noon with the barrel-organ player Gerardo, a welcome by city councillor Tina Zapf-Rodríguez, more than 30 soups, plus drinks, cake, games, music and dance, and at 2.30 pm the soups are awarded by the tasters and a jury.
