About This Event
Wazemmes becomes an open-air dining room built around soups from many cuisines. Amateur teams cook in front of passers-by while a jury and visitors taste, and there is a separate children's contest. Concerts, brass bands and street shows fill the day, and entry is free.

The seventeenth edition took place on 1 May 2017 from 3 pm to 10 pm, free of charge, under the slogan 'We want soupe!' (poster illustrated by Matthieu Ha, design by Juliette Jurga). Julien and Bertille won the Louche d'Or with 'Le Modjo vert', and Laurent Petit presided over the jury.
