About This Event
Wazemmes becomes an open-air dining room built around soups from many cuisines. Amateur teams cook in front of passers-by while a jury and visitors taste, and there is a separate children's contest. Concerts, brass bands and street shows fill the day, and entry is free.

The eighteenth edition took place on Tuesday 1 May 2018, 3 pm to 10 pm, free, around the Maison Folie Wazemmes. The Louche d'Or was handed out at 6 pm on the outdoor stage of the Maison Folie and won by the Howdy Lille association with a mushroom soup. Lille Actu announced the jury would be chaired by two-star chef Laurent Petit.
