The nineteenth edition took place on Wednesday 1 May 2019 from 3 pm to 10 pm. Competing soup makers sat under tents on rue de Wagram and place d'Oujda, Disco Soupe cooked a 250-litre soup from unsold vegetables on the steps of the Maison Folie, and several ethical food trucks were present. The Louche d'Or was awarded at 6 pm on the main stage and won by La Tente des Glaneurs with 'Orange is the new soup'. It was the last edition before the pandemic, and La Voix du Nord counted nearly 40,000 visitors.
