About This Event
The festival celebrates Taiwan's best-known noodle soup with a multi-day competition and stalls at Yuanshan Flower Expo Park. Categories have included braised and clear-broth beef noodle soup. Admission is free, and food and merchandise on site are paid.

What's on
The 2007 edition launched on 6 September at Taipei City Hall and added a beef-noodle essay contest, a 'best partner' vote, a charity cooking event and an international team exchange. The 'Challenge the Bull Demon King' cook-off split the traditional category into red-braised and clear-stewed alongside the creative category. The carnival, open to Taipei, out-of-town and newly registered shops, was held on 3-4 November, and the programme ran until 4 November.
