About This Event
Vilnius Pink Soup Fest celebrates šaltibarščiai, the cold pink beetroot and kefir soup Lithuanians treat as the taste of summer. Started in 2023 by the city agency Go Vilnius, it has grown from a one-day party to a three-day event with hundreds of restaurants, cafés and shops joining in. Visitors dress in pink, slide down a foam-covered hill into a giant bowl, watch the Pink Parade and the waiters' run, and hear free concerts. Entry is free and the main area is by the White Bridge.

Announced in the organisers' results release of June 2026: the jubilee fifth Pink Soup Fest will take place, as usual, on the last weekend of spring, 28 to 30 May 2027, at the White Bridge and across Vilnius. Go Vilnius says the programme will be expanded for the five-year anniversary. Entry is free.
